Here’s what Nuuksio National Park is like right now, during week 51, between 17.-23.12.2018.
Oh yes! This week brings snow and a white Christmas to us all here around Helsinki.
There will be around 10 cm of snow by the end of the week and for Christmas, and because the temperature stays cold and there’s very little wind, the snow stays on the trees. Perfect.
The forest is very peaceful now, because snow really makes the world quieter. And the sound of walking on snow, I’ve missed that. It’s not completely silent though, there are small birds saying hello to adventurers 🙂
So, sit down under a tree with a hot drink and let your body slow down to the rhythm of the winter.
