Nuuksio National Park during week 39, between 24.-30.9.2018.
Last week still had a few warm days, but this week brings with it cooler temperatures. The air will feel very fresh and smell beautifully of fall in the forest. In the picture, I found big and beautiful horn of plenty, a.k.a. black chanterelle, mustatorvisieni in Finnish. These taste great.
Cool winds from the north come to remind us of the approaching winter. But not yet, now we get to enjoy the mushrooms and the new colours! This is one of the best things about the northern nature here in Finland, the seasons, the world is in almost constant change and you can see and sense it yourself.
